Now a freelance writer specializing in technical, sales and marketing communications for over two decades, in the past I have worked for large and small companies and  run a graphic arts company that specialized in preparing weekly and monthly magazines for press (“pre-press services” in the days before “desktop publishing” software) where we handled magazines such as Crain Communications’ weekly Advertising Age and several dozen weekly and monthly trade journals. After a stint selling big-ticket high-tech graphics systems I decided that while I was good at selling I really liked writing and helping people solve problems. The results have been rewarding on many levels and I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with very interesting people doing interesting things.
